1. What we collect
Account details (name, email), profile content you choose to publish (bio, skills, portfolio, CV), verification documents submitted during vetting, and records of your activity on the platform such as orders, messages, and reviews.
2. How we use it
To operate the marketplace: matching and search, contracts and orders, trust signals such as ratings and verification badges, support, and the security of the service. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing
Your public profile is visible to other users. Verification outcomes are shown as badges without exposing the underlying documents. We share data with service providers only as needed to run Lancer, under contracts that restrict their use of it.
4. Payment data
Payments are processed by stc pay. Lancer does not store your full card number; we retain transaction records (amounts, status, references) needed for orders, fees, and accounting.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Contracts, orders, and payment records are retained as required for legal, accounting, and dispute purposes; verification documents are kept only as long as vetting and compliance require.
6. Your rights
In line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us and we will respond within the statutory period.
7. Cookies and sessions
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and preferences such as language and theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or PDPL requests, contact the Lancer team through the Help Center. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
